185th Fonda Fair: Carnival Rides, Rodeos & Upstate Family Fun

The countdown is on! Celebrate 185 years of agricultural tradition at the historic Fonda Fair, returning for six action-packed days from Wednesday, September 2 through Monday, September 7, 2026. Packed with everything from livestock shows and classic fair food to high-energy rodeos, truck and tractor pulls, and demolition derbies, there is truly something for every member of the family to enjoy.

Experience the thrills of the Coleman Bros. Shows Midway, dig into delicious fried treats, and take advantage of fantastic daily admission specials, including free entry for kids under 6 every day, backpack and bicycle giveaways, and special free gate hours throughout the weekend.

Fonda Fairgrounds Location & Daily Midway Schedule

All the excitement takes place at the historic Fonda Fairgrounds, located at 21 S. Bridge Street, Fonda, NY 12068. Fairgrounds operating hours run daily from 9:00 am until 11:00 pm (office hours 9:00 am to 6:00 pm), with the Coleman Bros. Shows Midway running on the following schedule:

• Wednesday, September 2, 2026: Midway Open 2:00 pm – 11:00 pm (Children & Senior Citizen's Day)
• Thursday, September 3, 2026: Midway Open 2:00 pm – 11:00 pm
• Friday, September 4, 2026: Midway Open 12:00 pm – 12:00 Midnight (Midnight Madness)
• Saturday, September 5, 2026: Midway Open 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm
• Sunday, September 6, 2026: Midway Open 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm
• Monday, September 7, 2026: Midway Open 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Military & First Responders Appreciation Day)

Gate Admission, Unlimited Ride Wristbands & Special Deal Days

Enjoy incredible value with a variety of gate admission options, daily promotional discounts, and $30.00 unlimited ride wristbands available every single day of the fair (valid until closing):

• General Admission: $15.00
• Children (Ages 6–11): $5.00
• Children (Under 6): FREE every day
• Wednesday & Friday Specials: FREE admission for kids under 14 all day! Senior Citizens (ages 62+) enjoy $5.00 admission. Plus, children's backpack and bicycle giveaways at the main walk-in gate.
• Sunday Early Bird Special: FREE gate admission for everyone until 11:00 am
• Monday Heroes & Early Bird Special: FREE gate admission for everyone until 12:00 pm. All Military & First Responders (in uniform or with proper ID) get in FREE all day!
• Unlimited Ride Wristbands: $30.00 every day (good from midway opening until closing)

To ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable visit for your entire family, please review the following essential rules and venue guidelines before heading to the fairgrounds:

• On-Site Parking: Parking on fair grounds is available for $5.00 per vehicle.
• Accepted Payment Options: VISA and MasterCard credit/debit cards are accepted on-site.
• Pet Policy: Dogs are strictly prohibited on the fairgrounds (service animals excepted).
• Fair Office Support: The fairgrounds office is open daily from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm to assist visitors with questions or event information.
