The Pierogi 5K is organized by passionate members of the Polish American Congress Central Division of New York State who aim to promote health and heritage in a vibrant, engaging way. With deep roots in the local community, we strive to create a memorable and meaningful experience for all participants. We are committed to providing a unique blend of fitness and cultural celebration. The Pierogi 5K offers participants a one-of-a-kind experience that combines physical activity, heritage, and a sense of community. Blend your love for fitness with cultural appreciation in every step. Experience the richness of Polish American history, food, and traditions at the event. Trophies AND free pierogi to the top male and female finishers in each age category. Food will be served during and after the race -- get those pierogi and other wonderful foods! We ask individuals and teams to bring a canned or dry food product for the hungry in our community. These will be donated to Schenectady City Mission.
