About this event
Trick or Trot Pumpkin Run 5K is a great race for all ages, featuring a beautiful Halloween inspired course through Jennings Landing. Following the race, awards recognition and posting of results takes place, featuring age-based divisional awards and prizes. Costumes encouraged! This race also features chip timing by ARE Event Productions. All registered runners will receive a wicking fabric shirt.
5K registration is limited to 400 participants!

Thursday, October 26th, 2023 @ ARE - 1028 Broadway (4pm -7pm)
Friday, October 27th @ City Hall 24 Eagle Street (11am – 6:00pm)
Saturday, October 28th @ Jennings Landing (2:00pm-4:00pm)
Awards will be given to the 1st Place Male, Female & Non-Binary. Costume Contest for Best Adult Costume, Best Duo Costume and Best Kids Costume!
Top three male and female finishers in each of the following categories will also receive awards: 15 and under; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+. Post-race awards recognition and posting of results takes place at Quackenbush Square by Old English Pub.
Parking: $5 flat fee parking is available at both the Riverfront Garage (2 Columbia St.) and Quackenbush Garage (25 Orange St). Handicap parking and EV charging spaces are available at both locations.

Special ground rules in effect: No alcoholic beverages, glass containers of any kind, animals or pets*. All entry fees are final and non-refundable. We reserve the right to cancel the race due to weather conditions that cause the running surface to be hazardous to the runners’ safety. City of Albany, AREEP, and any affiliate or venue associated with the Trick or Trot Pumpkin Run 5K are not responsible for lost bibs. Ground rules are subject to change without notice. Exceptions made for medical or childcare reasons may be addressed individually. (*Excludes ADA-defined service animals.)
Strollers are welcome but we strongly encourage runners with strollers to start in the back for the safety of all involved.
