Hit the Ice at the Empire "Skate" Plaza in Albany

Editor's Note (10/15/2020): Out of an abundance of caution during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Office of General Services has announced that the Empire Skate Plaza ice skating season will not be held for 2020 - 2021. Please check back next year for details on the 2021 - 2022 skating season!

Did you know you can go ice skating for free in the City of Albany? Each year, the Empire State Plaza hosts the Empire "Skate" Plaza Ice Rink, an outdoor ice skating rink located near the Capitol Building.
