Albany, the capital of New York State, is an incredibly historic and beautiful place to live. With a vibrant arts and entertainment scene, plenty of shops and boutiques, numerous local heritage tours and museums, and a variety of restaurants, bars, and clubs, there’s something for everyone in this diverse city.
Recently, Albany was named by US News as the number one place to live in New York State. Special mention was given to the centrality of the city–just about equidistant to New York City and the Adirondacks–and the lower cost of living versus the national average. Albany also has a higher average income than the national average, which certainly adds to its allure.
