Wolf Hollow Brewing Company Expands: New Scotia Taproom and Brewery

By Gavin Hochsprung

Craft beer lovers have a new destination in the Capital Region: Wolf Hollow Brewing Company's brand-new taproom and brewery at 154 Sacandaga Road in the Scotia Village Plaza. The expanded space celebrated its grand opening on September 24, 2026 with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a multi-day celebration featuring brewery tours, live music, and local pours.

A New Chapter for a Local Favorite

While Wolf Hollow is widely known for its established roots, this exciting expansion brings production operations, a full taproom, and restaurant elements closer to the heart of the village.

The new Scotia location offers an expansive, welcoming environment for friends, families, and craft beer enthusiasts to gather, grab a pint, and experience what's next for the brewery.

What to Expect at the New Scotia Location

Located in the Scotia Village Plaza, the new venue provides a community-focused setting to enjoy freshly brewed craft beer.

The draft list includes more than a dozen Wolf Hollow beers, ranging across West Coast and New England-style IPAs, a Czech pilsner, a stout, a sour ale, and a Belgian golden ale. The bar also serves house-made hard seltzer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, Nine Pin ciders, and Athletic Brewing non-alcoholic beers.

The food menu pairs well with a pint. Shareable plates include pretzel sticks served with beer cheese and the brewery's Brunettes Revenge spicy mustard, along with bone-in wings and Howl'n Elote corn ribs. Handhelds include the Wolf Smash burger, the Upsteak NY shaved ribeye sandwich, and the vegetarian Harvest Melt, and there's a Wolf Pups menu for kids.

Rooted in Community and Local Collaboration

For co-founder Pete Bednarek, the milestone expansion is deeply tied to the community that has supported them from the beginning.

“When I stand in the new Taproom and walk through our production space at the new location in Scotia it seems a bit unbelievable as I think back to the ideas and conversations on a front porch in West Glenville which started this whole thing. It was always only about doing something that would improve our community around beer.” - Bednarek shared with News 10.

That commitment to local collaboration shines through in the new space, which aims to support regional growth, increase annual production from 1,800 barrels to upwards of 2,500, and serve as a dedicated gathering place for Schenectady County.

Planning Your Visit to the New Taproom

Whether you are a longtime fan of their craft brews or looking for a new spot to spend an afternoon with friends and family, the Scotia taproom offers a fresh way to experience everything Wolf Hollow has to offer. Drop in to try a new pour!
