The Honest Weight Food Co-op was founded in 1976, and since then, they have grown into one of the Capital Region's top places for affordable, natural, and organic foods and products for healthy living.
Both members and non-members are welcome to shop at their grocery store, and they offer an amazing selection of local produce, meats and cheeses, groceries carefully selected to contain no artificial ingredients, craft beers and ciders, vitamins and supplements, green wellness products and cleaning supplies, and curated housewares and gift items. The co-op stocks flowers, organic seeds, organic soil, and organic veggies and herbs for transplant.

What makes the Honest Weight Food Co-op special is their commitment to the local community. Each year, they give 5% of their net profits to non-profit organizations in the area.
In addition to the grocery store, you can visit their deli and cafe for freshly prepared hot meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, house-made soups, a salad bar, a made-to-order juice bar, and coffee, tea, and espresso drinks. There is a large selection of foods for specialty diets as well.
The community can also enjoy free classes at the co-op and a number of excellent sales every week.
