About the Lark Street BID
Since its inception in 1996, the Lark Street BID has worked to improve and promote the Lark Street Neighborhood through a variety of programs and services. Their core neighborhood services focus on Neighborhood Safety, Neighborhood Marketing, Street Beautification, and Special Events and Promotions.
The area they're a part of, Lark Street, is a vibrant community in the heart of Albany, located just a block away from Washington Park. The Neighborhood is home to a wide array of local businesses, including bars, restaurants, coffee shops, stores, art establishments, and more.
The Lark Street BID's goal is to build, sustain, and enhance a unique and prosperous living and business community for the residents, visitors, and merchants of the Lark Street Neighborhood

Throughout the year, the organization typically hosts a variety of top events that attract visitors to Lark Street. Examples include LarkFest, Art On Lark, Champagne on the Park, 1st Fridays, A Taste of Lark, and others.
These events also supply the Lark Street BID with additional revenue that is used for marketing and street beautification projects in the Corridor.
