The Old Daley Inn has purchased the Crooked Lake House in Lansingburgh, NY. They plan to renovate the historic house and re-open the structure as an event center and banquet hall by late October 2010.
The new location will be called the Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake. It will serve as a showcase location and will have a pub and bistro to open in the near future. The catering business will continue throughout the surrounding area and will keep its existing headquarters where it is located now.
The Crooked Lake House was originally built in 1780 as a stagecoach stop and re-built in 1840. It had many famous visitors in its lifetime. From 1941 to1943 NBC broadcasted its big-band concerts live from within the house. This will be yet another exciting stage in the course of the building’s life.
