Albany NY – Matt Baumgartner, the founder of Bomber’s
Burrito Bar and owner of Wolff’s Biergarten, is set to open a new restaurant at the Quackenbush House.
The space will open as an English style pub and serve traditional menu items.
The Quackenbush House was built sometime around 1730. The history and look of the building sparked
the idea to open a pub that has a traditional feel. The menu will feature shepherd’s pie,
fish and chips, and other English favorites.
Most recently, Baumgartner opened another Bomber’s location in Schenectady. It has been a huge success! There
is still talk about the possibility of a Bomber’s location in Troy
at 215 River Street.
