The Scarborough Restaurant & Tavern has moved into Latham, opening a new location closer to the hometown roots of the owners.
Scarborough’s served patrons for 29 years in its previous location in Rotterdam. But the Else family, owners of Scarborough Restaurant and longtime residents of Colonie, are excited to bring the family business closer to home (and, lucky for us, closer to Albany!)
The restaurant’s new location, at 497 Niskayuna Road in Latham, occupies 4,000 sq ft inside a renovated residential farmhouse. There is a large deck that will allow for outdoor dining in the warm season, and two(!) fireplaces inside to warm up patrons in the cold months.
Scarborough Restaurant has been operating since 1982, serving an eclectic menu of casual dining (by ‘eclectic’, we mean you can find Italian Siciliano Linguine, West-Coast California Shrimp, Mexican Armadillo Eggs, and a hearty selection in between).
With the grand ribbon cutting on June 20th, Scarborough Restaurant and Grill has been (and will be!) serving during the week from 11am-11pm, with longer hours on Fridays from 11am-12am, late Saturdays 12pm-12am, and shorter Sundays 12pm-9pm. For more information, call (518) 793-4500.
