Johnny Rockets Returning to Crossgates

Smokehouse burgers, cheese tots, waitresses singing, and classic American nostalgia is returning to Crossgates later this year, as it has been announced Johnny Rockets will resume its former spot near the movie theater!

Multiple news outlets have reported this classic dining spot will be back at Crossgates, after having closed its doors in 2020. The only other Johnny Rockets in the area was in Lake George, at the Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark, which closed down in 2023 and was replaced with Hurricane Grill & Wings.

We're also super excited about Barnes & Noble coming to Crossgates, also slated for this year but without an exact date nailed down. In addition, a new tattoo shop is expected to open at the former Jay Street Games location, and 7 Brew is coming to Crossgates Commons.
