The old bank building on lower State Street in Albany is making room for a restaurant/nightclub with class, sophistication… and zen?
You might know the restaurant Bull & Buddha from its current location in Poughkeepsie. Now it’s going to be far less of a drive to get there – the owners are opening a second branch in Albany.
Bull & Buddha is known for its interesting menu and its upscale nightclub atmosphere (in Poughkeepsie, it’s also famous for its two-ton Buddha residing behind the bar).
The new location will be larger than the last, with the grand ceilings of the bank’s basement and old vault reaching up to 45 feet high.
The architect for this grand design is none other than Neil Pelone, the great mind behind Central Steak and the team that drew Creo.
This new restaurant / nightclub venue hopes to open in August 2012.
Are you looking forward to Bull & Buddha? Will you frequent the restaurant or the nightclub, or both? Tell us!
