Discover The Region’s Top Shows
Walk through beautiful and creatively designed indoor garden displays at the 2019 Capital District Garden & Flower Show this weekend. Now in its 32nd year, this show will have everything for garden amateurs and enthusiasts, including demonstrations, lectures, plants, bulbs, flowers, and seeds available for sale, a Garden Cafe, and more. Partial proceeds from the show will support Wildwood Programs.
If you’re already dreaming about summer boating season, then the Great Upstate Boat Show is the event for you. Hosted at the Adirondack Sports Complex in Queenbury, this annual boat show is the largest event of its kind between New York City and Montreal. This is a great opportunity to shop for new and pre-owned boats and accessories, and buy or trade up!
Calling all comic book and toy collectors! The popular Albany Comic and Toy Show will take place at the Red Lion Hotel in Albany this Sunday from 10:00am-5:00pm. Stop by and browse a great selection of new and vintage toys, comic books, movie memorabilia, statues, model kits, and much more.
Prepare For A Night Of Laughter
Don’t miss an awesome night of comedy at Savoy Taproom on Friday at 8:00pm. Some of New York’s best comedians will perform at the restaurant, including Phill Hunt, Brian Grossi, and Shafi Hossain.
On Saturday at 8:00pm, the Albany Jewish Community Center will host Comedy Night with headliner Andy Pitz and special guests Erin Harkes and Andy McDermott. Proceeds will benefit Albany JCC camps.

Take a trip to Greene County this weekend and find your next favorite restaurant. Restaurant Week starts on Friday in the area, and at participating restaurants, you can enjoy a two-course lunch for $10 or $15, or a three-course dinner for just $15 or $25.
Get ready to try a variety of mouthwatering chilis at the Van Alstyne Homestead Society’s 7th Annual Chili Cook-Off. Over a dozen types of chili will be available to taste and judge, and admission is just $10 per person. The event will run from 1:00pm-4:00pm.
Meet The Easter Bunny At Colonie Center
The Easter Bunny is coming back to Colonie Center starting this Saturday. Bring your kids to the mall between 10:00am and 12:00pm for an egg-tastic event featuring an egg hunt, face painting, balloon artists, and more.
Try These Enjoyable, Hands-On Activities
Unleash your artistic side at The Arts Center of the Capital Region’s interactive open house on Sunday from 12:00pm-3:00pm. All ages are welcome, and this free open house will feature 13 studios with hands-on activities exploring mediums such as game design, pottery, photography, dance and movement, and more!
Looking for a fun way to spend Sunday afternoon? Collar City Candle will present a special Craft & Draft event at Nine Pin Cider from 12:00pm-3:00pm. Participants will have the chance to choose from over 30 scents and design/create their own one-of-a-kind candle to take home. Tickets cost $15 and include materials to build one candle.
