All you have to do is email a picture of your receipt from an Albany County restaurant to Discover Albany, and that will count as an entry for a chance to win a prize.
Urban Outfitters to Open New Store at Crossgates Mall
This summer, Urban Outfitters will open its first and only store in the Capital Region at Crossgates Mall in Albany. The lifestyle retailer operates over 200 stores throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe, and they offer a well-curated mix of women’s and men’s clothing, accessories, and home products. The new location will be located on the lower level near American Eagle.

Dust Bowl Faeries: Open For Take-Out Virtual Concert Series: Join The Linda, WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio, on Monday, February 22, for a virtual concert featuring the Dust Bowl Faeries, who are known for their dark carnival dream music. Tickets are on sale now, and the concert will be available for live viewing at 8:00pm on February 22, with the replay available until February 23 at 11:59pm.
Wynter Thyme Fest: On February 20-21, JB Enterprises will host a Wynter Thyme Fest at Colonie Center with local vendors and businesses, raffles, prizes, and more.
Brooks Chicken & Rib BBQ Drive Thru: On Wednesday, February 24, the Bethany Reformed Church in Albany will host a Brooks Chicken and Rib BBQ Drive Thru from 3:00pm-6:00pm. They will not be accepting pre-orders for the dinners.
Warmth of Winter: Colonie Senior Service Centers’ annual Warmth of Winter fundraising event is going virtual this year on Thursday, February 25. Get your tickets for a “front row seat” to this year’s exciting event, which will include a tote filled with sumptuous food and beverages for you to taste, an online silent auction, and a Mystery Wine Pull.
