Experience Albany Nightlife During the Holidays
Editor's Note (12/4/2020): NY State has announced new COVID-19 restrictions on bars, restaurants, gyms, and residential gatherings. Bars and restaurants must close from 10:00pm-5:00am daily, although restaurants can still offer curbside pickup, takeout, or delivery after 10:00pm (no alcohol to-go). Indoor and outdoor gatherings at private residences are limited to 10 people, and other non-essential gatherings are limited to 50 people.

With more than 20 bars and nightclubs within walking distance of each other, there are plenty of spots to choose from.
If you are looking for a nightclub or lounge, try one of the upscale venues on Pearl Street or Broadway, but just be aware these bars typically have cover charges or entry fees.
