Clifton Park Farm Fest

September 16 - 17, 2023

The annual Clifton Park Farm Fest is a weekend of fun for the whole family. Take a drive to some of the working farms in Clifton Park and enjoy tours, apple picking, hayrides, demonstrations, animals, tasty food, and more. Additional activities will be taking place throughout the community.

Capital Apple & Wine Festival

September 16 - 17, 2023

The Capital Apple & Wine Festival is coming back to the Altamont Fairgrounds this year for a weekend of arts and crafts, wine tastings and sales, live music, delicious food, and more. This is a family-friendly fall celebration with something for everyone.

Adirondack Balloon Festival

September 21 - 24, 2023

This popular event offers a truly spectacular sight! Just a short trip away from Albany, Glens Falls and Queensbury host the annual Adirondack Balloon Festival featuring over 30 hot air balloons. Admission is free, and hot air balloon launches will be held at different locations throughout the festival weekend.

New York State Hops and Harvest Festival

September 13, 2023

Visit the Empire State Plaza on Saturday, September 13, 2023, for the annual New York State Hops and Harvest Festival. Highlights will include craft beer selections, live music, hops presentations, fall activities, and more.

Troy ChowderFest

October 8, 2023

Mark your calendar for the return of Troy ChowderFest on Sunday, October 8, in downtown Troy! During ChowderFest, participating restaurants and businesses will serve out of their storefronts and offer $2 four-ounce samples. There is no up-front cost or presale ticket required to attend the event.

Upper Madison Street Fair

October 1, 2023

Head over to Upper Madison Avenue in Albany for an afternoon of music, dancing, art, food, and activities. The Upper Madison Street Fair is a highly anticipated annual event that will be held on October 1, 2023, from 12pm-5pm.

Empty Bowls Project

October 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2023

The Empty Bowls Project in Troy is a fundraiser that raises awareness about the issue of hunger. Attendees can purchase a bowl to help support local food pantries in the Capital Region. For 2023, the Empty Bowls Project can be found each Saturday in October from 9:00am-2:00pm at the Troy Waterfront Farmers Market.

Albany's Trick or Trot Pumpkin Run 5K

October 28, 2023

The newest addition to Albany's top fall events is the Trick or Trot Pumpkin Run 5K, which will be held on Saturday, October 28. Participants are encouraged to dress in their best costume for this fun 5K, which will travel throughout downtown Albany and Washington Park. Fireworks will precede the race at 5:45pm.

Albany Auto Show

November 3 - 5, 2023

Are you ready to buy a new vehicle but aren't sure what to get? Attend the annual Albany Auto Show at the MVP Arena for an up close look at the latest and greatest cars, trucks, SUVs, and more from over 25 manufacturers. This three-day event is the perfect time to browse, ask questions, and figure out the best new vehicle for you this year.

Troy Turkey Trot

November 23, 2023

Register to run in the annual Troy Turkey Trot! This race is one of the largest and oldest turkey trots in the entire country, and for 2023, the event will feature a 5K run, a 10K run, a one-mile Turkey Walk, and the Grade School Mile. Sign up and join this proud tradition in the Capital Region.
