Fall fun can be found right here in Albany, NY! There is so much to do in the area during this colorful season, from festivals to arts and crafts shows and more. We've rounded up a wide variety of annual fall festivals and events that can't be missed in the Capital Region.

Fallbany Pop-Up Market

September 19, September 26, October 3, and October 10, 2020

For 2020, Fallbany will be a pop-up market that will take place at various locations in September and October. Mark your calendar for September 19 (Swinburne Park), September 26 (Lincoln Park), October 3 (Ridgefield Park), and October 10 (Black Lives Matter Park). Masks are required to enter the market, and they will run from 10:00am-2:00pm.

Troy on Tap

Troy on Tap is the ultimate fall event for beer lovers! Come out to Troy and sample over 120 releases from some of America's best craft breweries while enjoying live music, delicious food, and great vendors.

Clifton Park Farm Fest

The annual Clifton Park Farm Fest is a weekend of fun for the whole family. Enjoy tours, apple picking, hayrides, demonstrations, animals, great food, and more at local participating farms.

Capital Region Apple & Wine Festival

Don't miss the only festival in the area that combines apples and wine - the Capital Region Apple & Wine Festival! Look forward to two days of wine tastings, a farm market and bakery, apples from local orchards, kids activities, an arts and crafts show, live music, and a car show too.

Adirondack Balloon Festival

This popular event offers a truly spectacular sight! Just a short trip away from Albany, Glens Falls and Queensbury host the annual Adirondack Balloon Festival featuring over 30 hot air balloons, hot air balloon launches, live music, rides, vendors, and other festivities.

LarkFEST

LarkFEST is New York State's largest one-day street festival! With two stages of live music and over 50,000 people in attendance, this event is an absolute must during fall in the Capital Region.

Empty Bowls Project

The Empty Bowls Project in Troy is a fundraiser that raises awareness about the issue of hunger. Attendees purchase a bowl and get it filled with a soup of their choice from participating area restaurants - at the end your bowl is washed so you can take it home.

Troy Chowderfest

The annual Troy Chowderfest has been reimagined as a BINGO game that everyone can play. All you have to do is register for free and get your BINGO card. Then, from October 19 - 31, 2020, enjoy shopping, dining, and exploring downtown Troy online and in-person.

Troy Turkey Trot

November 26 - 28, 2020

Register to run in the annual Troy Turkey Trot! This race is one of the largest and oldest turkey trots in the entire country, and for 2020, and event is going virtual. Participate in a virtual 5k, 10k, or another event over Thanksgiving weekend from November 26 - November 28.
