Fall fun can be found right here in the Albany, NY area! There is so much to do during this colorful season, and we've rounded up a wide variety of annual fall festivals and events that can't be missed in the Capital Region.
Fallbany Pop-Up Market

Details for the 2021 Fallbany have not been announced yet. However, in 2020, Fallbany featured pop-up markets at various locations in Albany in both September and October. Stay tuned for further updates.
Troy on Tap
Date: September 11, 2021
Troy on Tap is the ultimate fall event for beer lovers! Come out to Troy and sample over 120 releases from some of America's best craft breweries while enjoying live music, delicious food, and great local vendors.
Clifton Park Farm Fest
Dates: September 18 - 19, 2021
The annual Clifton Park Farm Fest is a weekend of fun for the whole family. Enjoy tours, apple picking, hayrides, demonstrations, animals, tasty food, and more at local participating farms and businesses.
Capital Region Apple & Wine Festival

Don't miss the only festival in the area that combines apples and wine - the Capital Region Apple & Wine Festival! Look forward to wine tastings, a farm market and bakery, apples from local orchards, kids activities, an arts and crafts show, live music, and a car show too.
Adirondack Balloon Festival
Dates: September 23 - 26, 2021
This popular event offers a truly spectacular sight! Just a short trip away from Albany, Glens Falls and Queensbury host the annual Adirondack Balloon Festival featuring over 30 hot air balloons. Admission is free, and hot air balloon launches will be held at different locations throughout the festival weekend.
Upper Madison Street Fair
Date: September 26, 2021
Head over to Upper Madison Avenue in Albany for an afternoon of music, dancing, art, food, and activities. The Upper Madison Street Fair is an annual event that offers fun for the entire family.
LarkFEST

LarkFEST is New York State's largest one-day street festival! With two stages of live music and over 50,000 people in attendance, this event is an absolute must during fall in the Capital Region.
Empty Bowls Project
Dates: October 2, 9, and 16
The Empty Bowls Project in Troy is a fundraiser that raises awareness about the issue of hunger. Attendees can purchase a bowl to help support local food pantries in the Capital Region. This year's event will be held on three consecutive Saturdays in October at the Troy Farmers Market.
Albany Auto Show
Dates: November 5 - 7, 2021
Are you ready to buy a new vehicle but aren't sure what to get? Attend the annual Albany Auto Show at the MVP Arena (formerly the Times Union Center) for an up close look at the latest and greatest cars, trucks, SUVs, and more from over 25 manufacturers. The annual Troy Chowderfest has been reimagined as a BINGO game that everyone can play. All you have to do is register for free and get your BINGO card. Then, from October 19 - 31, 2020, enjoy shopping, dining, and exploring downtown Troy online and in-person.

Troy Turkey Trot

Register to run in the annual Troy Turkey Trot! This race is one of the largest and oldest turkey trots in the entire country, and for 2021, and the event will feature a 5K run, a 10K run, a one-mile Turkey Walk, and the Grade School Mile. Sign up and join this proud tradition in the Capital Region.
