1st Friday: Albany

1st Friday in Albany featuring numerous galleries, one-night shows, local shops, restaurants, and live entertainment takes place on the 1st Friday of EVERY month.

What:

The goal of first Friday is to bring a wider audience to the artists and venues of Albany. Come see local artists, check out local shops and enjoy live entertainment. The event is entirely FREE.

When:

This event takes place the 1st Friday of each month.
11 am to 2pm: Check out exhibitions in Downtown Albany. Many venues will showcase artwork for the downtown lunchtime crowd.
5 pm to 9pm: Enjoy the rest of 1st Friday throughout Albany including many gallery openings and live entertainment.

Transportation:

A trolley will stop at participating venues throughout Albany. The Trolley leaves from the Upstate Artists Guild at 5 pm and duration of the round trip is approximately 30 minutes.

After 1st Friday:
