Summer camp is one of the best experiences a child can have, and this year, Academy of the Holy Names will be offering three new programs for girls and one co-ed program, all led by experts with a focus on fun and learning.
Plan Ahead For Summer Camp With Academy of the Holy Names
Academy of the Holy Names in Albany, NY is the Capital Region's only all-girls, private, independent Catholic, grade 6 to 12 college-preparatory school. During the summer, their goal is to offer enriching experiences for both girls and boys.
Summer camp is an amazing opportunity for kids to meet new friends, learn important skills, stay active, and get involved in various activities. For summer 2022, Academy of the Holy Names is offering four unique day camp programs in July and August, including:
1. Adventure Camp, July 18-22, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
(Girls, Grades 7 – 10, $500 per participant)
This summer adventure camp will be filled with exciting activities that will keep your child moving and stretch their limits. Each day will include a new adventure at a different location, such as whitewater rafting, hiking, ziplining, and exploring a high ropes course.
2. EXPLORE: Girls Leadership Camp, July 25-29, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
(Girls, Grades 5 – 7, $375)
The Girls Leadership Camp will focus on discovering what it takes to be a leader and a good friend. Girls will be empowered to achieve their full potential and learn tools that will help them navigate middle school and beyond.
3. EXPLORE: College Preparation, August 1-5, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the option for extended day until 3 p.m.
(Girls and Boys, Grades 11 & 12, $375)
Is your child getting ready for the transition to college? The College Preparation program will provide guidance and prepare your child for the tasks necessary for acceptance into the college of their choice.
4. Summer Arts Program, August 1-5, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
(Girls, Grades 4-8, $375 per participant)
Academy of the Holy Names' Summer Arts Program is all about unleashing your creative side! Join them for a week of music, theater, and art. All levels of experience are welcome.
