I can't say enough good things about the work of Harvest Homes and Peter Sindt of Marbletown Restoration & Construction. Thanks to them, we now have a magnificent garage that went up without a hitch and in record time. Harvest Homes also manufactured the exterior of a great room we added on to our home. It was a complicated job with many windows -- including a large trapezoid. Again, it was erected with ease and precision. Pete kept us informed along the way with both projects. His finishing work was right on target. Marbletown Restoration & Construction has done many projects for us -- finishing a large portion of our basement; turning a guest room into a guest suite with the addition of a bathroom; installing hardwood floors; and using Trex and considerable construction skill to repair a badly built deck and double stairway. We've hired Marbletown Restoration & Construction over and over again because we can always count on top-notch work, good communication and focus on getting the job done right.

Response to Harvest Homes;
thank you for your comments. We had no issues with your components.
The issues were exclusively related to Peter Sindt and his subcontractors as well as his choice to misrepresent the home as a new construction, which is far from the truth. We just spent more than $ 20,000 to replace the non functioning HVAC system, which had been installed by P. Sindt, We had addressed the issue with him to no avail but were always told that we did not know how to correctly operate the system.
Most recently he proposed to repair a foundation issue under the condition that we remove our first review, This exposes his work ethic.

I recently had the immense pleasure of working with Marbletown Restoration and Construction on a rebuild and expansion project following a fire. The materials provided by Harvest Homes was pre-built to an amazing perfection, like the pieces of a skillfully cut jigsaw puzzle. I was amazed how well and how quickly the new structure came together. The representatives from Harvest explained much of the process to me, and the entire installation was overseen by Pete SIndt, my project manager and contractor. I have received many, many compliments on the final building, and I would definitely use again and highly recommend both Pete Sindt as well as the folks at Harvest Homes for quality materials and workmanship.

We bought a house which was advertised as a brand new construction. We bought the house under this impression. However we found out soon that this was not true, the house was an extension of a preexisting structure. In addition to questionable issues about preexisting framing, there were many problems resulting from having taken short cuts during construction: missing trap, malfunctioning hot water system, mismatched AC compressor with ductless units, detorating foundation resulting in leak into the staircase. Poor installation of appliances. When we contacted Mr Sindt, his wife attacked us and arrogantly claimed that our concerns had no basis, such as "gas always smells like this", when due to the missing trap sewage smell would greet us every morning.
Be aware of this builder and his real estate mother in-;law who uses misleading advertising for his buildings

Harvest Homes, ,Inc regrets the dissatisfaction you have explained here in your review. Harvest Homes, Inc is a supplier of panelized building components, and provided much of the framing structure for your home. Your complaints do not seem to apply to the framing elements. Harvest Homes, Inc. has a great working relationship with the Sindt family for many years All complaints are taken very seriously. Please feel free to call our office at (518)895-2341.
